SkateBoarding

The snow is finally melting and to celebrate the coming spring we let Tommy take Skate boarding lessons. The first two weeks were still snowed under so they were held inside an gym, but finally last Saturday we got to use the Skate Park. Tommy is still timid about going fast, and worried about falling but over all loves his skate board.

This week they were going up and down ramps.

Tommy handled his wipe outs quite well. He just jumped up and grabbed his board and tried again. Back at home John and Tommy stayed outside to practice his tip-tac’s and stops as well as picking up more speed so Tommy could get more comfortable with riding faster.

November

The weather was very nice this past November, and we went out to play quite a bit. Sadly I didn’t get around to posting the pictures till now…

Sledding!

It snowed this Saturday and so out we went to take the boys sleding! We have a nice hill behind the playground and for a while we were the only ones out there. We wore the boys out with the ups and downs of sledding and then while John went back home I let the boys play in the snow for awhile longer.

ER Fun

Here are some of the pics I snaped last night of the boys playing in the waiting room at the ER. As you can see they had fun and even Jake was impressed once the pain meds started working.

Cast Day?

Last night was long. Thankfully Mike’s parents arrived at the hospital just as we were ready to leave and they took Tommy and David back to their house for the night and will be taking care of getting them to and from school today! This works great because I just got an appointment for Jake and it is at 12:30 so we could never have made the bus stops at 1pm with that timing. Jake slept in my bed, and did ok once he fell asleep. He got more restless as his pain medicine wore off but did not want to wake up and take more. It took some convincing but afterwards he fell back into a more restful sleep. We are taking him to the specialist today and will most likely be putting a cast on that arm, which is good cause otherwise Jake would probably just rough house and break it again. Now I’m kinda worried he’ll use his cast to knock around his older brothers…

Uggg!!

Still waiting on word about Jake. Still worried about Jakeser baby. Only new emotion is irriataion at all the other parents bringing kids into the waiting room. I keep checking out the other kids for signs of flu or virus. So far all the kids have been accident prone babys. Two girls with cuts on their heads and their brothers. So atleast Tommy and David won’t get the flu from here. I hope.

Emergency room

So here we are at the emergency room. Jake fell off the couch, and by couch I mean the one he knows better then to walk on. The same couch he scraped his ankle this morning when he walked on it. Seems little Jake desided he didn’t want to hurt his ankle again so to be “safer” he took a stroll around the very top of the couch and fell all the way down.
So like I said here we are at the emergancy room so Jake can get some x rays on his little arm. John was carrying Jake so when the nurse said the other boys couldn’t go back I had to stay out in the waiting room with Tommy and David. I’m worried they are hurting little Jake with shots and moving his arm for the x rays and there is nothing I can do for him.
Out here in the waiting room Tommy and David are having fun with the touch screen computer games they have and with the nintendos they brought with them. I’m pretty full of nervious energy so I’m writing this to give my hands something to do. And with that I have run out of things to say except I hope Jake is not hurting and won’t need a big cast. I don’t think he would take a cast well.

Trick or Treat!

We had the boys for Halloween this year and they were so excited to get dressed up and go Trick or Treating!

Jake is Spiderman and boy is he brave! He could hardly see through that mask but that didn’t stop him from running around! I took it off after the first house just to be safe, as every house here has a half flight of steps to the front door and I couldn’t risk him falling.

David was Opitomas Prime this year, complete with a gun on his arm! He only wore the mask for pictures so when we were Trick or Treating most were unsure of what he was supposed to be, lol.

And Tommy was BumbleBee! He was also equipped with a gun on his arm which they both used to shoot down all the other kids in the neiborhood, aka their competition! Tommy wore his mask.. but kept it pushed up on his head so atleast he was kinda recognizable, lolz.

And finally after one loop around our neiborhood we came home with full buckets and divvied up the mad lewts!

Play Time!

Everyday when the boys get home from school they run inside and tackle John! It’s really funny to watch the three boys gang up against John on the floor!

Tommy 007

So while David was recording all his favorite things, and making action packed movies with his camera, Tommy was using his own camera to catch his brothers red handed! And every few minutes Tommy would come running upstairs with new evidence that his brothers weren’t doing what they were supposed to be doing! At first this was pretty funny but it did eventually grow old and I put away the cameras away for the night. Good timing too because both memory cards were completely full!
